The Saint-Martin Football League and the Real Foundation de Madrid Football Club gathered last Friday at the Hotel Hommage à la Baie Nettlé to present the long-awaited training camp for young Saint-Martin footballers which begins this Monday, August 2!
Marc Gérald Ménard, Secretary General of the Football League, Jean-Louis Richards, 1st Vice-President of the Saint-Martin League, Charles-Henri Palvair, Director of Youth and Sports of the Saint Martin Community and Brian Van Den Bergh, head of the Real de Madrid Football Club Foundation for the French West Indies, were present at the press briefing.
The training camp reserved for the U7, U10 and U13 categories (girls and boys) will take place from August 2 to 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Thelbert Carti stadium in the Quartier d'Orléans in the presence of three coaches from the Fondation du Real de Madrid and three educators from Saint-Martin.
75 young football enthusiasts will take part in this unique and enriching experience from a footballing point of view.
It should be noted that out of the 75 children registered, the Collectivité has taken charge of 50 places.
During the training camp, each child will be given a clothing kit, as well as many gifts (1 ball, backpack) and a certificate of participation.
At the end of the internship, a player will be selected and invited to participate in the Foundation's Real Madrid World Tournament in Madrid.
