TAXATION: Income taxes: COM wants to abolish the € 100

0

Among the six items on the agenda of the territorial council of December 14 is the abrogation of the levies of € 100 for the costs of assessment, control and recovery.

This measure was introduced in 2013 in order to allow the COM to collect additional revenue and to settle part of the costs invoiced by the State to the COM to ensure the processing of income declarations (personnel costs, IT costs, costs of 'postage).

All citizens had to pay these 100 euros when paying income tax. This measure had been very unpopular because non-taxable households also had to pay it. For taxable persons, the 100 euros were automatically included in the amount to be paid.

The repeal should apply next year, that is to say for income tax 2017. Also to recover his notice of non-taxation 2016, people must pay the 100 euros.

This will be the 5th point that elected officials will study Thursday morning. (Source: www.soualigapost.com)
