Hundreds of people gathered on the outskirts of Marigot Bay to attend the July 14 fireworks display.
Scheduled for 20 p.m. but delayed due to a technical problem, we had to wait until 20:25 p.m. to have some timid fireworks shot from the edge of the Marina and 20:35 p.m. for the great show which lasted more than eight minutes, thanks to Skyfall fireworks . Eight minutes for a real festival of lights that amazed both young and old. After a grand finale, the echo of applause was heard throughout the bay. The crowd will therefore have responded more than present to this traditional meeting of the French National Day, the sidewalks of the seafront were black with people, which made the joy of restaurateurs and bar owners in the capital. A restaurant owner did not hide his enthusiasm: “this evening, I find the Saint-Martin that I have always known, where locals and tourists mix, where the atmosphere is festive, it is a bit as if we forgot everything, the time of an evening… after the year we have spent, I can tell you that it feels good ”. For those who would have missed this magnificent show, the next fireworks display, still organized by Skyfall fireworks, will take place on Wednesday July 21 at 20 p.m. in the bay of Grand-Case, a nod to Belgium including the Fête National is that day. _VX
