The Haitian community of the island is in turmoil: the event entitled “Festivities pre May 18” will take place Sunday from noon at the parking lot of Galisbay, as part of the celebration of the 213th anniversary of the Bicolore, announced the association "The A's". The high point will take place at 15 p.m. with a large parade hosted by the Pathfinger orchestra. The association invites the population to this event in order to “discover the multiple facets of Haitian culture through art, music and especially history”. On the program: tasting of Haitian dishes; dance; games for children; musical performances including Ronald Lebeau, Tamillia Chance and the group Nu Style. Note that the group Klass will perform on Saturday, at 20 p.m., under the marquee of Port de Plaisance.
