The Collectivity of Saint-Martin has decided to extend until March 24, 2017 the call for applications - Exhibition of photographs "Faces of Saint-Martin". This additional month is necessary to allow the candidates to organize themselves and present their artistic work to the Collective.

As a reminder, the Collectivity is organizing a photography exhibition, which will take place outdoors in the streets of Marigot on public buildings. Directly inspired by the “Inside out” project by French artist JR, the “Faces of Saint-Martin” exhibition gives everyone the opportunity to share their portrait, their story and send a message to the urban space. This exhibition will illustrate the diversity of the population of Saint-Martin and place the human in the heart of the city. It will be visible to the greatest number, and will allow visitors to plunge their gaze into that of the inhabitants of the island.

Photographs of portraits of adults (men and women), details of natural elements and architectural elements of Saint-Martin will be printed on large format “blue back” paper (like a metro poster).

Applicants must take 10 black and white photos (portraits, close-ups of the natural and urban environment of Saint-Martin). Number of photos by theme: 8 portraits, 1 natural element detail, 1 architectural element detail. (Recent photos).

Applications (complete file and USB key containing the photographs) must be submitted to the public procurement & procurement department of the community, Rue Félix Eboué in Marigot (Resp. Ms. Carole BIQUE), until Friday March 24, 2017 at 12 noon (deadline de rigueur).
