The Soroptimist Club, which never remains indifferent to the fight against breast cancer, wanted to carry out a particular action within the framework of Pink October. The association has chosen to allow women entrepreneurs to exhibit their talent around the pink month during a charity evening organized at the Astrolabe restaurant in Orient Bay.
For the occasion, the Soroptimist Club has selected a quartet of female entrepreneurs: The Cocoa Butter boutique specializing in the manufacture of natural body and hair products and in the sale of African outfits and accessories, the designer Cindy Choisy who exhibited a magnificent painting on the theme of breast cancer as well as the range of T-shirts painted by her hand as an artist, La Boutique aux Épices with the manager who demonstrated her know-how behind her stand installed in the entrance hall of the Astrolabe and finally, the recent company Sublim'Essence, managed by Florence, which offers quality cosmetic products tested under pharmaceutical control allowing people with breast cancer to feel radiant and free whether with make-up, post-operative lingerie according to the specific needs of the interested parties, hair prostheses, perfume or other accessories that reconcile with the a femininity sometimes set aside during or after radiation/chemotherapy treatment or surgery. Guests at this special evening admired the exhibition before joining the tables for the show and the meal to begin. A fashion show organized by Kinda de Cocolito whose motto is "indulge once a day" was greatly applauded, the models of one evening presented lingerie sets adapted to women who have undergone an operation or undergoing treatment against breast cancer. The moment was as beautiful as it was moving, with a palpable sisterhood in the room. After the lingerie, splendid African outfits were shown to the assembly gathered around this noble cause defended by the Soroptimist Club, the only women's organization that works in all areas to encourage, enhance, help and promote the status of wife.
