Following the unanimous negative opinion of the territorial council, last July 17, on the project of application of a PPRN anticipated by the State in Saint-Martin, the president Daniel GIBBS decided, with his majority, to propose a alternative consultation, at the initiative of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin.
The goal is to work on solutions nourished by the opinions of experts who master the realities of the territory and the experience of the field, at the service of Saint-Martinois and responsible economic development of our island.
This consultation will be launched at the end of August and will take the following form:
- the creation of a steering committee (COPIL): political body in which the representatives of orders, chambers, federations, major associations of individuals and professionals will sit.
-the creation of technical and thematic committees open to the public and composed of technicians and professionals.
