The number of positive cases of covid-19 continues to increase every day in the Dutch part; Wednesday evening, the Minister of Health announced 80 active cases including 4 new.
Three people are hospitalized, 76 are in confinement at home and one in a dedicated place. Since the start of the crisis in mid-March, 160 people have contracted the virus in part Dutch and 64 of them have been declared cured, 16 have died.
853 PCR tests were performed as well as 262 at Juliana airport.
On Wednesday afternoon, the prefecture communicated the latest health report for the French part: the ARS has 9 new cases, this brings to 16 the number of active cases and to 63 the number of people having been infected in the French part. 41 were declared cured and 3 died. The 16 people carrying the virus are in confinement at home.
