As of July 31, the Collectivité has collected 48,46 million euros in taxes and duties since January. This is 11,58 million less compared to 2019 at the same time and over the same period (- 19%).

This result is mainly attributable to a fall in tax revenue, which recorded a drop of 21%, or - € 10,13 million. By taxes, we must understand: transfer duties, corporate tax, electricity tax, license fee, patents, lease fee, tax on petroleum products, stamp duty, notice of non-taxation, gambling duties , vehicle rental tax, tourist tax, registration card, boarding tax.

The TGCA and the corporation tax which represent half of the receipts (19,32 M €), are the two main lines which record the biggest decreases in absolute value: - 3,72 million for the TGCA and - 3,65, XNUMX million for corporation tax for the first seven months of the year.

Regarding the TGCA, this is explained on the one hand by a drop in consumption linked to containment; in April, the entire month during which the population was invited to limit their movements, the receipts were 969 euros, or 068 million less compared to January. With the resumption of activities and the reopening of the border, revenue increased again to reach 1,35 million in May, 1,05 million in June and 1,93 million in July. Between January and July, the COM collected 1,77 million euros.

Regarding corporation tax, 7,49 million euros were collected between January and July.

In addition, the tax on petroleum products and transfer duties are two taxes which had enabled the COM to collect 14,26 million euros between January and July 2019 (7,13 million each), or nearly 30% recipes. This year, their product is down 13%; receipts from transfer duties were 5,94 million at the end of July (-1,19 M) and those from the tax on petroleum products 6,47 million (- 0,66 M).

Finally, concerning income from income tax and property tax, they stood at 10,35 million euros at the end of July, i.e. 1,44 million less compared to July 2019 (-11 %).
