On Friday April 7, the educational team at Jérôme Beaupère nursery school in Sandy Ground organized a traditional market highlighting local products. The objective was to make pupils in very small, small, medium and large sections discover the fruits and vegetables which they did not know for some as well as some marine animals. They were also able to taste certain fruits such as pineapple, melon, sugar cane and vegetables.
The ULISS class from Aline Hanson School also participated and came to visit the market. "The director of the elementary school praised the positive side of this event and encourages us pedagogically to renew the operation in order to enrich the vocabulary and the taste for local fruits and vegetables", confides the teaching team support from staff, the ANAP scoop and the fisherman Marcelus Dorville.
