0

The first parents' school in Saint-Martin has just opened its doors in Saint-James. This structure will allow families experiencing difficulties with their children to be accompanied by specialists.

This launch is part of “the territorial security and crime prevention strategy signed with the state and the prosecutor's office of Basse-Terre, on December 15, within the CLSPD”, the local Security and Prevention Council delinquency, specified the president of the Collectivity Aline Hanson, yesterday, at the hotel of the Collectivity, in the presence in particular of the prefect Anne Laubies and the president of the association “Foundation For Hope and Music Development” Paul Whit. The activities of the structure - whose budget amounts to 19.000 euros (State / COM) - will be offered in the association's premises.

Four workshops will be offered to parents: “Rights and Duties”, a session led by the gendarmerie; “Child / parent relationships” with a psychologist; “Managing daily life” with an economic and social advisor and “Le café des parents”. We will come back to other details in a future edition. _EH
