As part of European Waste Reduction Week, the Mont des Accords college organized several awareness events as part of its eco-citizen approach. The pupils of four classes took part in a cleaning of the Galion beach in partnership with the Natural Reserve of Saint-Martin, and in a recycled decoration workshop. They also attended an exhibition devoted to waste and an exhibition-conference on the theme "The Collectivity of Saint Martin: what policy for its waste". The last educational activity of the week takes place today with the visit of the Eco-site of Grandes Cayes so that these young people understand how waste is treated. _EH
