Earlier this month, the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap) invited the population to a visit to Fort Louis as part of the archaeological diagnosis of this historic monument. This time, the public is invited to the presentation of the results Thursday, at 18 p.m., at the Territorial Archives, at Concordia. The head of the operation, the archaeologist Emmanuel Moizan, and the director of the Archives Stéphanie Dargaud will lead this conference. As a reminder, this preventive diagnosis - prescribed by the archeology service of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs (Dac) of Guadeloupe - was carried out from September 22 to October 7, 2016 by a team from Inrap in order to assess the impact of the work on the monument._EH
