In the last season, 1700 cases were estimated. The virus is tenacious since it survives “eight to twelve hours on handkerchiefs, clothes, papers, etc. And several days on inert surfaces ”, according to the National Institute for Prevention and Education for Health (Inpes), specifying that the time between contamination and the first symptoms can be up to five days. _EH
