You who live in the east of the island, Dauphin Telecom Landline 4G arrives in your home. While waiting for fiber, this solution provides access to high speed internet thanks to a network of mobile antennas.
It is currently available on Grand case (from the Rainbow to the buildings behind the airport) and Cul de sac.
Dauphin Telecom offers you the speed of unlimited broadband in your home for € 39,90 per month.
The principle is to install an antenna outside the home which receives the waves of the fixed 4G network of the Dauphin Telecom mobile antenna. The external antenna is connected to a box inside the house which broadcasts 4G.
If the 3G / 4G connection already existed via keys or hubs with a SIM on our mobiles, the novelty comes from this box entirely dedicated to your home.
It therefore allows unlimited internet browsing at home via a broadband wifi network.
The downstream speed can be up to 10 Mbit / s and up to 8 Mbit / s.
The fixed 4G pack therefore consists of a box and an antenna.
A technical pre-visit is required to validate the eligibility of the home (it must not be eligible for ADSL or fiber) and to test the waves which are difficult to propagate when they encounter natural obstacles such as forest areas dense or thick walls, thick walls, very well insulated house.
This non-binding offer at the price of € 39,90 per month is reserved for individuals and professionals not eligible for ADSL or optical fiber and includes the router (box) and the outdoor antenna. It requires installation costs (159 €) subsidized by the State (for individuals only) up to 150 € within the framework of the deployment of "high and very high speed for all".

Other areas will soon be covered and when fiber is more widely deployed, Dauphin Telecom will offer its 4G Fixed customers to switch to very high speed (THD) fiber in the sectors concerned.
