0

Nearly 6 million doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered in the Caribbean and some Central American countries that are members of the Caribbean Public Health Agency (Carpha) in early December. The territories where the population is the most vaccinated are the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Aruba with 84%, 76% and 73% respectively of the inhabitants who present a complete vaccination schedule.

In Anguilla, six out of ten people have fully received their doses. Almost as much in Antigua (57% of the inhabitants present a complete vaccination schedule).

In Belize, Barbados and St Kitts Nevis and Trinidad, almost half the population has received two doses of the vaccine; in the Bahamas and Dominica between 35 and 37%. In Grenada and Montserrat, nearly three in ten people are fully vaccinated, a quarter in Saint Lucia.

In Saint-Martin, among those over 12 years of age, vaccination coverage is 49% for at least one dose and 41% for the complete scheme. In Saint-Barth, it is 79% and 69% respectively.
