Covid-19: How many tests have been carried out?

According to authorities on both sides of the island, a total of 1 PCR tests were carried out: 714 partly French and 1 partly Dutch. These are tests carried out on residents. The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) of Sint Maarten also carried out 080 tests on passengers repatriated and arrived at Juliana Airport on special flights.

During the past three weeks, 229 residents of Saint-Martin have been tested and 111 from Sint Maarten.

Partly French, of the 1 tests, 080 were positive, ie a positivity rate of 49%. Of those 4,53 people who tested positive, 49 were residents, three were tourists who were repatriated.

To date, 3% of the population have been tested locally.

Partly Dutch, the positivity rate is much higher since it is 17,98% without counting the tests carried out at the airport. Taking them into consideration the rate is 3,3 points lower. 114 tests were positive. 1,48% of the population of Sint Maarten has been tested.
