Coronavirus: We forget the beach, Easter will be done at home!

Containment measures strictly apply to Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. Easter or not, we stay at home!

To prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus and save lives, containment measures apply strictly to Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin. Respecting movement restrictions and barrier gestures is the best weapon against illness.

Even if travel and family outings are traditionally very important for Easter, it is imperative that everyone is responsible and stays at home this weekend.

The prefecture recalls that the beaches are closed to the public. No unjustified outing will be tolerated and police and gendarmerie controls will be reinforced, including on the beaches.

Do your shopping responsibly

Supermarkets are stocked normally. There is no point in carrying out large stocks of food and hygiene products.

To avoid abnormal crowds in stores and long queues, people are asked to avoid shopping on Saturday morning and Monday morning. Only one person per family must be designated to go to the supermarket.

Respect the barrier and distance measures!

The barrier and distance gestures to imperatively apply are simple:

- wash your hands regularly

- cough or sneeze in his elbow

- use disposable tissues

- greet without shaking hands and avoid kissing

- keep a distance of 1 meter with the others

- if symptoms, stay at home and call your doctor

- only go to hospital if the situation is serious and urgent
