Social: Saint-Martin / Saint-Barth: everything you need to know about the reception of children of staff essential to managing the health crisis

Since March 16, an exceptional reception service from the small section to the 3rd class has been set up for the children of the caregivers and medico-social personnel essential to the management of the health crisis and with no childcare solution.

Students are taken care of in groups of 10 students maximum, in strict compliance with health instructions and barrier gestures.

Given the exceptional nature of the situation faced by nursing staff without a daycare solution, the proposed reception system is extended to the days when schools are closed.

Parents concerned wishing to benefit from the emergency childcare arrangement set up by the French Ministry of Education, are invited to proceed to the prior registration of their child (ren).

In Saint-Martin, this reception is organized every day at primary school (kindergarten and elementary) Emile Choisy de Marigot for kindergarten and elementary students and at Mont-des-Accords college in Marigot for middle school students.

In order to enable the establishments concerned to anticipate this organization and to prepare the reception of pupils, parents concerned and wishing to benefit from this system are asked to register their child (ren) in advance with the service of the national education at least 24 hours in advance by contacting:

* 0590 47 81 70 between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

This registration system allows National Education and the Community to anticipate the mobilization of staff (teachers, ATSEM, school officials) assigned to this reception, on the other hand to prepare the educational reception and educational for children.

In Saint-Barthélemy, the schoolchildren concerned from the 4 public and private nursery and elementary schools under contract are welcomed at Gustavia elementary school. Parents concerned should contact 0590 27.65.50 ou ce.9710341u@ac-guadeloupe.fr.

Counting on everyone's involvement to organize this exceptional reception, the National Education and Community services are available to parents eligible for this system.

 

The personnel concerned by this system are:

  • All staff working in public / private health establishments: hospitals, clinics, SSR, HAD, health centers ...
  • All staff working in medico-social establishments for the elderly and disabled: retirement homes, EHPAD, USLD, autonomy homes, IME, MAS, FAM, SSIAD…
  • City health and medico-social professionals: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, midwives, caregivers, health transporters, biologists, carers for the elderly and disabled ...
  • The personnel responsible for managing the epidemic of the regional health agencies (ARS) of the prefectures and those assigned to the national crisis management team.
  • The personnel assigned to social assistance missions for children under the departmental councils as well as associations and public establishments contributing to this policy.

 

The services in charge of child protection concerned are the social welfare services for children (ASE) and maternal and child protection (PMI) as well as nurseries or children's homes of a social nature (MECS) , open educational assistance services (AEMO) and specialized prevention services.

 

The professionals belonging to these structures eligible for the scheme are the following: social workers, social and family intervention technicians (TISF), doctors, nurses nurses, midwives and psychologists as well as staff providing support for services, associations or establishments .
