If at the start of the crisis, the Dutch side performed fewer tests than the French side (52 against 87 as of March 30), today it turns out that it performed 1,55 times more.

On April 21, the government of Sint Maarten indicated that it had carried out 249 tests and Santé Publique France 160 for Saint-Martin, or 0,62 tests and 0,44 tests per 100 resident residents, respectively (excluding tourists).

Partly Dutch, out of the 249 tests, 27,3% were positive, or 68. In part France, the proportion of positive cases is lower: 23,75% out of the 160 tests, or 38. If we consider only the resident cases (without the 5 tourists), we obtain a positivity rate of 22,58%.

In Saint-Barth, 84 tests were carried out, i.e. 0,88 tests per 100 inhabitants, a ratio twice as high as in Saint-Martin. 6 tests were found to be positive, giving a positivity rate of 7,14%.
