This Wednesday, March 8 was held the 2nd edition of "La Saint-Martinoise Girls" organized by the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin.
This 2nd edition, open to schoolchildren from CM1 to 5th on the island, brought together 132 girls, determined to fight it out on the 2km course planned between the Galisbay car park and the Sea Front pier.
The morning began with a collective warm-up, followed by the race. It was under a blazing sun that these young ladies set off, and their efforts were rewarded because all received a medal, a diploma attesting to their participation in the race.
The morning ended with a raffle involving several prizes donated by Dauphin Telecom, the Art and Design boutique, Lipstick and Canal+. On the competition side, full board for the Collège Mont des Accords which won the first 3 places of the 6th and 5th podiums. The Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin would also like to thank the other sponsors who contributed to the success of this event: Crédit Mutuel, Super U, Delta Petroleum, Eyes2Eyes, Le Pélican and Rapido Print.
