This Saturday March 13 was held the 9rd edition of La Saint-Martinoise race and walk 100% female on the Seafront of Marigot.
The event organized by the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin had to be limited this year to 200 registrants due to the health crisis. 200 privileged people who set off at 16 p.m. sharp on the asphalt, for 5 km to be covered in the streets of Marigot.
It was Céline Racon Dorville of Crédit Mutuel who was the godmother of the event, an active, athletic woman, whose speech very committed to the cause of women's sport was hailed.
This 9th This edition, organized on the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, was able to mobilize women again this year, in a festive atmosphere. After the competition, a socca fit was organized ”without forgetting the raffle which involved, among other things, 5 Air Caraïbes tickets round trip Saint-Martin-Pointe-à-Pitre or Fort-de-France.
The appointment has already been made for the 10th edition next year. An anniversary that will be celebrated as it should, for an event that has become essential on the island.
