Organized by the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin, the 14th edition of the 15 km race in Saint-Martin was a huge and popular success last Sunday, with no less than 102 runners on the starting line!
Each person at his own pace ! Confirmed and amateur runners took part in the 14th edition of the 15 km from Saint-Martin at 6 am, from Terres Basses.
As expected, the "pros" controlled the head of the race by printing a sustained train.
On arrival, the Guadeloupean and specialist in the discipline, Eddy Boulate, claimed victory in 53 minutes and a second, ahead of Omarco Robinson by a few strides.
In women, Calme Sunilda of the Citizen Club of Basse-Terre won in 1h 01 min 49 sec.
Note the presence of a strong Guadeloupe delegation on this race representing the colors of the "Green Strides of the Rond Point de Petit Bourg".
