The third festival of migratory birds will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m. at the University of St. Martin, Philipsburg. Like previous editions, this event is organized by the association Les Fruits de Mer with the support of many volunteers and partners.
During this free event, young and old will benefit from several activities, including guided bird watching tours of the Great Salt Pond and presentations of migratory birds. The festival "will focus on the restoration of the habitat with a free distribution of seedlings" Lignum Vitae "also called Gaïac", explains the association, which will reveal on this occasion pictures from its eBook entitled "The shadow of 'a drought', work by photographer Mark Yokoyama.
