0

President Daniel GIBBES has given the green light for the Collectivity of Saint-Martin to launch from May 17, 2017, studies aimed at preparing the project to bypass Boulevard de Grand Case.

This project aims to reduce and unclog the center of Grand-Case by creating a road and pedestrian path along the edge of the airport pond, on the outskirts of Grand-Case, thus connecting the RN7 to the new road . The project management mission and the carrying out of regulatory environmental studies have been entrusted to the ARTELIA (agent) -SCE-TROPISME group. Various studies will have to be carried out within the framework of this program, in particular the geotechnical studies on the site which will be carried out on May 17, 2017. These studies aim to know the state of the soils in order to provide prescriptions on the principles of possible construction (earthworks, supports, slopes and embankments, foundation, foundations of roads). They will be made by mechanical shovel.

The subcontractor for this work is "Antilles Géotechnique" with two shovel rentals with driver:

Mr. Didier Lake - EURL TTGCE

Mr. Herbert Lake - SARL GCEE

This first phase concerns only the feasibility studies, the start of the construction will be the subject of a second phase which will be scheduled later.
