Festival of humorous sketches, the Comedy Show gives pride of place to puns and deadpan jokes. Still organized by the MacFly Events, this evening resumes its bases at the restaurant La Toquée, thus offering the public the possibility of mixing gastronomy and entertainment with an evening dinner show where spectators can taste the cuisine of this much talked about restaurant while enjoying a comedy performance that promises to be thunderous.
Laurence Blanc, brilliant organizer of the event and talented actress, understood that there is nothing like marrying food for the body and food for the mind. In these uncertain and difficult times, laughter remains the best remedy for gloom, stress and daily routine. The menu of the first Comedy Show offered us as a main course fifteen sketches of short stories as incredible as they were absurd, but always with a humor that aroused infectious laughter in the assembly. Each sketch, whose themes were sometimes light, sometimes deep with a real political message, was written by the entire Troupe des Têtes de l'Art, led by Laurence Blanc, accompanied by her seven other actresses and actors. We look forward to discovering this second version which will probably supplant the first edition that we still remember. Two performances of the Café-Théâtre evenings at La Toquée are scheduled for Saturday January 22 at 19:30 p.m. and Saturday January 29 at the same time. The La Toquée restaurant is located in Hope Estate, above Siapoc, the former Level 1. For this dose of original and unique happiness, don't wait too long, places are limited. _VX
