The president of the Community Aline Hanson and the president of the Union for Democracy (UD) Daniel Gibbs insisted on speaking through the press after the murderous passage of cyclone Matthew in Haiti. “I regret with great sadness all these lost lives and send my deep condolences to the families of the victims and to the Haitian people (…) I invite our compatriots to get closer to the service clubs and associations that organize humanitarian aid from Saint- Martin ”, underlines the president. For his part, the leader of the opposition also offered his condolences and asked the Saint-Martinois to accompany the solidarity actions. _EH
