Community: Implementation of the first psychotechnical tests for drivers in Saint-Martin

In July 2018, on the favorable opinion of the Territorial Road Safety Commission, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin granted accreditation for the organization and animation of road safety awareness training courses.

Thanks to the actions carried out by the CSSR Esclapez Sécurité Routière Interventions (ESRI) road safety awareness center, the Collectif de Saint-Martin now benefits from training courses in its territory necessary for managing driver files, such as:

* Psychotechnical tests for drivers in violation, suspension or cancellation of driving license

* Driving license points recovery courses for drivers registered in the National Register and holding a national driving license (pink)

* Sessions of initial and continuous training in the medical control of drivers for general practitioners wishing to participate in medical commissions

* Various road safety awareness courses

As such, the 1st session of psychotechnical tests will be organized from February 18, 2019, in the presence of a certified psychologist. The drivers concerned are asked to contact without delay, the territorial service of driving licenses STTC, located in the annex of the community (former school of the Bord-de-Mer), in order to recover their summons. A dozen candidates are expected during this first test session organized on the premises of the EVANYA social driving school, on the 1st floor of the Guillaume Llobrégat building, in Concordia.

Attention: To be able to take the psychotechnical tests, drivers must be in possession of the summons from the STTC of the Collectivity, in charge of managing driver files and issuing driving licenses.

Note: in addition to the medical examination following the medical check on driving aptitude, the psychotechnical examination is made compulsory in the event of a driving license application, after cancellation or invalidation or after an involuntary breach of integrity. of a person accompanied by a total incapacity for work. The conclusions of the psychotechnical test complete the medical examination carried out with an approved doctor and help to clarify the opinion of the medical commission or the designated approved doctor. Drivers are invited to go to this compulsory psycho-technical check, in accordance with the summons given by the territorial service of STTC driving permits of the Collectivité of Saint-Martin.
