The very first carnival event in 2016 took place last Sunday in the village of Galisbay with the elections of "Miss Pitchounette" and "Miss mini Reine", organized by the association Carnivalesques carnivalesques de Saint-Martin (FCDSM). It was Shaliyah Ferrol who won the title of "Miss mini queen", but also the prizes "Best talent", "Best carnival costume" and "Miss photogenic". As for Maelys Farlot, she was crowned "Miss Pitchounette" and won the awards for "Miss popularity", "Miss photogenic" and "best speech". The next event will take place this Sunday from 14 p.m. with the children's parade in the streets of Marigot.
