During a recent meeting on plot AW34, vice-president Wendel Cocks gave companies a deadline until January 13, 2016 to carry out the final finishes on the site. Those selected and not selected for a Temporary Occupation Authorization (AOT) monitor their mailbox: the first notifications arrived last Friday. One of the future operators - manager of a restaurant on the plot before the demolition - officially received his AOT, and says he is “finally relieved” after “months of waiting and of uncertainty without information” as to the progress of the project, who has fallen behind. For restaurants, an agreement between the Collectivity and the beneficiaries of an AOT will soon be signed. Operators should take possession of the premises the first week of January to install their equipment.
