The Regional Administration Committee (RAC) took place last Thursday at the Hôtel de la Collectivité in Marigot, in the presence of the services of the Prefecture of Guadeloupe. This meeting made it possible to take stock of the public policies to be implemented.
"This is an event which is of particular importance for our territory, because despite our institutional autonomy, too many state services remain centralized in Guadeloupe, and therefore far from us", said the president of the Community Aline Hanson during of his speech, at the opening of the CAR, alongside
the Guadeloupe regional prefect Jacques Billant, the rector Camille Galap, and the delegated prefect Anne Laubies. "Amplify the mobilization of state services for the benefit of Saint Martin", this is the objective of the prefect. This committee will take place every quarter to discuss the files of the Northern Islands.
