In the afternoon of Saturday, November 21, a friendly confrontation was organized between the two English Boxing clubs of Saint-Martin at the Thelbert Carti basketball stadium in Quartier d'Orléans.
Under the cover of the Regional Health Agency of Saint-Martin, the service went perfectly between the twenty or so athletes present around a real ring. The coaches, Philippe Arrendel of ABC Inter Sport and Leonardo Incardona of Orleans Boxing Club, were pleasantly surprised by the performances of their respective boxers, young and old. Then thanks to the partner “Super U”, a small snack was given to all the young athletes and visitors.
This organization was a test balloon in view of the next confrontation which will be held on December 19, certainly at the Concordia Sports Hall for lack of being able to receive in Quartier d'Orléans from the public (even limited) and teams from the outer islands. due to the lack of suitable infrastructure: covered space, WC and changing rooms.
The organizers would like to thank the sports department and the COM for their support allowing a new development of boxing in Saint-Martin.
