The Saur company took over the production and distribution of drinking water and sanitation on December 1. The real change - and not the least - for the user is the price: this will indeed drop by 13% from the next bill.
This drop in price is made possible thanks to the investments that will be made by COM, in particular on the network. “Today, its rate of return is 60%, there is still 40% of the water produced by the factory that does not reach the taps. Our objective is to reach 72% by the end of 2020, ”says the director in charge of overseas.
Renovation work will also be carried out within the desalination plant located in Galisbay in order to increase its profitability. Saur also wants to increase its energy performance.
