On March 11, the second day of the under-2 basketball tournament was organized by EPIC Ballerz, a group of 11 clubs affiliated to the FFBB (SXM Sport Pour Tous, RCM, Finiks, Backayard pro and Let's do it).
No less than forty children, all enrolled in basketball school, met throughout the morning from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Savannah pitch.
The basketball school is run by the SXM Sport Pour Tous association. Indeed, this association, chaired by Mr. Joël Hyman, promotes the practice of a maximum of sporting disciplines for the greatest number (bicycle, football…).
Also, since September 2016, she manages the basketball school under the technical direction of the Federal Technical Advisor, Mr. Palvair. Main line of work since his arrival, it is to allow a solid and lasting development of basketball by allowing the learning of the basics and fundamentals from an early age.
Thus, thanks to a dozen supervisors trained in 2015 by the CTF (federal diploma for basketball instructors), 11-year-old students from each school in the territory practice their favorite discipline every Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning to become future basketball players!_AF
