BASKETBALL: Young basketball players from Saint-Martin have found their way to the basket!

0

For the past two weeks, the associations BACKAYARD PRO (THUNDERZ), LDI, PHOENICKS, RCM and SXM SPORT POUR TOUS have welcomed around thirty young basketball players from the island.

The activity is launched with a well-developed program for the development of basketball among the youngest.

The training sessions are open to everyone, girls and boys. We find the categories U6, U9, U11, U13 until U17, during a regular training on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 17 to 20 p.m., at the Sports Hall of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium.

Skills Development is to educate children in the discipline of basketball and develop future talents who will represent the island at a national or even international level.

We wish to draw the attention of parents to the opportunity to support their children, during our 2018-2019 program:

- International detection camp

- Development camp in the United States

- Cultural and sports exchange in the Caribbean and in the United States

- OTM and referee training

- 3 against 3 tournament

- Clubs Tournament, School Tournament

“We put together this enticing program. We are collaborating between clubs to revive the level of basketball where we left it before Cyclone Irma. We are going back to the basics and we will train new basketball players with a single objective "to aim for the highest level for these young people". Parents, come in large numbers, entrust your children to us and we will teach them discipline, mastery, concentration and the pursuit of a very specific objective for their future, ”emphasizes coach Jean-Jude Paul.
