Viet Vo Dao internship

The coming of a Master of Viet Vo Dao, Marc Raux, 6th dan, met a frank and clear success with the Martial Arts practitioners of the island last weekend.

The Hope Estate dojo, between the Aikido and Kyokushinkaï Karate clubs, had indeed invited all club and curious practitioners to participate in an exceptional course to discover the most emblematic of the Vietnamese Martial Arts. Practitioners from all walks of life, attracted by the reputation of Viet Vo Dao, came in large numbers!

Two days of good humor thus took place, and the fighting techniques chained delighted the participants. Viet Vo Dao has kept its promise, alongside Aikido, thanks to Félix Lake (5th dan), and alongside Karate Kyokushinkaï, thanks to Thierry Saint-Auret (4th dan). Everyone was able to discover different approaches and positions in combat, while seeing the great similarities between all the Martial Arts. A spirit of sharing thus reigned in the Hope Estate dojo, a spirit that was further enlarged on the 2nd day (Sunday, December 20) of the course on Orient Bay beach!

Practitioners were able to safely try the dreaded Viet Vo Dao scissor techniques on the sand. Maître Raux thus offered children a privileged moment for learning these techniques, then adapting this learning to adults.

Aikitai Jutsu Sxm and Caribbean Karate Oyama thank Master Raux, his warmth and his impressive mastery of this Martial Art, the quality of his internship gave everyone a joy that could be read on all faces. _AF
