Grand-Case Airport: Work started on the car park

As we indicated in our edition on Friday, the management of the Grand Case airport is in the process of removing the damaged cars parked in the parking lot, thus limiting the number of spaces for users.

Ten other parking spaces are prohibited due to the construction of a hangar between the terminal and the control tower. "These places will be recovered once the site is completed," says the director, Loic La Joye.

Seven months after Irma's visit, Sesma, the company which operates the platform and a subsidiary of the Edeis group, is still waiting to be compensated by its insurance. "We will still start repair and improvement work as soon as possible," says Loic La Joye. This will notably allow a gain of 15% in the number of places. Traffic changes will also be made to make it more fluid.
