LEISURE: Simba, the playground that everyone was waiting for!

Opened last December, this space for games and meetings located in La Savane is unique in Saint Martin. The parents dreamed of it as much as the children, Camille did it.

Mother of a two-year-old boy, Camille quickly realized the lack of daily activities, which are fun, educational and collective, for toddlers. She therefore had the brilliant idea of creating a children's park which would not only be a space for games and interactions for toddlers but also a place for parents to meet and exchange views. After having had the opportunity to have a plot of 240m2 at La Savane, Camille embarked on the adventure. Simba Park, which takes its name from the famous lion cub, is aimed at children from 0 to 10 years old. Everything has been thought out for the development and fun of the minis, in a fenced, secure and grass-covered setting. Camille has not skimped on the means to offer a magical experience to children: three huts for different age categories, three slides, two climbing modules, a trampoline, three swings (plus two for toddlers), ball pool, soft toys, hopscotch, bicycles, etc. The corner for babies promises crazy races on all fours but gentle on the knees thanks to the grass on the ground, the giant soft toys are sure to cuddle them and the Montessori motor skills courses will ensure their development. Without forgetting the awakening games and the books made available. Parents are hardly forgotten in Camille's park, several games await them such as backgammon, chess, dominoes or even cards, adults also have the right to play while the little ones have fun! In the adults' corner, a bar has been set up to quench the thirst of the players, fresh juice, tea, coffee, everything is there. If private birthdays at Simba Park are very popular with an original decoration of which Camille has the secret, you don't need a special occasion to go there. Camille invites parents, single moms or single dads with toddlers, to come to Simba Park in the morning, or after school with the older children, to let the kids meet while the parents relax. or discover the workshop creations of Camille who has magic in her hands. Simba Park is open daily from 9 a.m. to noon and 15 p.m. to 18 p.m., closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The rates are more than affordable given the range of games available and the soothing atmosphere of the place: €10 for half a day on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during holidays and public holidays (free for parents), and 5 €/h on Thursday and Friday. There's already a lot of talk about Simba Park, and the accolades are just beginning. _VX
