Covid-19: Haiti 3rd most affected country in the Caribbean

With 2226 cases of Covid-19 infections (+ 102 in 24 hours; the 2000 mark was crossed on June 1), Haiti rose to third place among the countries most affected by the epidemic in the Caribbean region .

Since the identification of the first cases on March 19, this is the first time that the island exceeds Cuba in the statistics.

The five most affected countries:

Dominican Republic: 17 cases, 285 deaths, 502 cured

Puerto Rico: 3873 cases, 136 deaths

Haiti: 2226 cases, 45 deaths, 24 cured

Cuba: 2045 cases, 83 deaths, 1809 cured

Jamaica: 586 cases, 9 deaths, 311 cured
