As part of the Fête de la Nature 2019, EDF Archipel Guadeloupe organized on Saturday May 25 in the Bay of the Embouchure, an outing led by the Nature Reserve, under the sign of the Mangrove.
On this occasion, participants, members of EDF staff or ordinary citizens, were able to learn about the mysteries and benefits of this humid coastal forest too often poorly known and underestimated. However, it plays a fundamental role in the West Indies, whether it be landscape, cultural, for the protection of the coast or for the production of biomass (plants, birds, fish, crabs, etc.).
Thank you all for this great 2019 edition and for the waste collection effort, due to the lack of mangrove seed.
