Death of Mme COCHRANE-YEPOUNDE

We learned with sadness of the death of Madame COCHRANE-YEPOUNDE in the year of his 103 years. The death of a centenary person always has a particular emotion for a territory and its inhabitants.  

In these difficult times, the president of the community, Mrs. Aline HANSON, and the vice-president in charge of the Solidarity & Families pole, Mrs. Ramona CONNOR wish to send their sincere condolences to the family and relatives of Mrs. COCHRANE-YEPOUNDE, in their personal name, in the name of the members of the Territorial Council of Saint-Martin and of the territorial staff. 

Madame COCHRANE - YEPOUNDE, affectionately nicknamed "Yaya" was the oldest of the elderly people followed by the community of Saint-Martin, as part of its home care policy. Yaya leaves the memory of her cheerful personality. The community of Saint-Martin salutes its exceptional longevity, which has spanned the century and has witnessed many changes in the West Indies, where it has lived.
