In its continuous effort to increase the notoriety of Saint Martin, Unleash Potential Group (UPG) gave birth to the group 365 SXM in order to promote the culture, tourism and the uniqueness of the island. With this in mind, 365 SXM is launching the first annual SXM Choice Award ceremony that will bring the two hemispheres of the island together.
The “Choice Award” has an open character and a low threshold of requirement. Anyone can nominate and vote from a large list of categories; whether they are tourists, individuals or local businesses.
The first ceremony of the “Prix du Choix SXM” will aim to recognize and honor individuals, organizations and key companies for their remarkable contributions to the island of Saint-Martin. Our guests of honor will be the three highest rated candidates in each category by the Saint-Martin public.
This first event will be highly publicized and will highlight the quality of the candidates' products and services; now steeped in our Saint-Martin culture.
The selection process for nominations and votes goes as follows:
The top 20 nominations will go to the second ballot. At the end of the second round, the 10 top nominations will go to the third round and the finals. At the end of the last round, the three finalists will be invited to the ceremony as guests of honor.
The nomination period is now open. The deadlines are as follows:
- First round of voting:
March 1, 2017 until April 11, 2017
- Second round of voting:
April 12, 2017 until May 11, 2017.
- Last round of voting:
May 12, 2017 until June 16, 2017.
