The official opening of the Amuseum Naturalis was a success at the launch of the Mardis de Grand-Case. Last week, the establishment welcomed more than 750 visitors, announced the association Les Fruits de Mer. This is a record attendance for the first natural history museum of Saint-Martin, thus showing the public interest in nature. The association was delighted to see so many people, said the president of the institution Jenn Yerkes. The atmosphere was "dynamic" and "fun" according to museum curator Mark Yokoyama, adding that visitors were receptive "to discover new things".
