3rd School Olympics in Saint-Barthélemy: Congratulations to all the participants!

As part of the year of Olympism, from school to university, the 3th School Olympics in Saint-Barthélemy took place last Friday at the Saint-Jean playground.

This event was organized by the association USEP Iles du Nord with the partnership of the community of Saint-Barthélemy, the community of Saint-Martin and the national education service of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin.

These olympiads aimed to develop the learning of cooperation, of living together between the students of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.

Indeed, it is under the sign of brotherhood that the 126 students (80 students from Saint-Martin and 46 students from Saint-Barthélemy) participated in the various sports and fun workshops offered by teachers and animators USEP.

The students were very active and enjoyed the various workshops: swimming, jumping, throwing, molkky, parachute, pétanque, football, and beach tennis. The 126 students shared a moment of conviviality around a meal offered by the community of Saint-Barthélemy.

At the end of the afternoon, Madame Jacques Micheline, director of the Gustavia school and the sports manager, Magalie Maxor, presented the fraternity medals to the nine schools in Saint-Martin and to the two CM1 classes of Gustavia. .

The association USEP Iles du Nord underlines the presence of Mrs. Joselyne Prudent, director of the Nina Duverly school, in the delegation of Saint-Martin, who will bow out at the end of the year, after 43 years of good and loyal national education services. Hat!

The association USEP Iles du Nord thanks the community of Saint-Barthélemy for its warm welcome, the community of Saint-Martin and the prefecture of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy (FEBECS) for transporting the delegation of 80 students and 12 companions.
