The daily health report of Sint Maarten published early Wednesday evening reports 26 new recoveries and 15 new cases of covid-19.
The number of active cases has therefore fallen below the 200 mark, to 198 precisely.
An additional person is hospitalized, in total 12 patients are. At a press conference, the government confirmed that the capacity of the Sint Maarten hospital center was 16 beds.
Since the start of the epidemic, 348 residents have contracted the virus, 133 have been declared cured, 17 have died.
1 PCR tests were carried out among the population as well as 365 at Juliana airport.
