1st edition of the “Polynesian Va'a”: A great popular success which calls for others!

40 teams registered, more than 350 people present on the beach of Galion, the 1st edition of the “Polynesian Va'a” exceeded all the expectations of the organizers!

Alexandre, Nathalie (Quiksilver Saint-Martin) and Fabien (OC4 Island) have something to look forward to the day after the 1st edition of the “Polynesian Va'a”!

Organizers, participants and spectators indeed experienced an extraordinary day between the competition aspect with the pirogue and stand-up paddle races, the many free activities such as yoga lessons, initiations to stand-up paddle and canoes Polynesian, without forgetting the discovery of traditional Polynesian dance with the group "Manuia Ori Tahiti". In short, everyone enjoyed it!

On the competition side, for men, "OC4 Island" finished in 1st place ahead of the PSIG and the Aruba crew.

Among women, "My school, My whale" won the victory at the expense of "Sport Madness Team" and "Aruba Canoë Women".

Finally, in the mixed category, Cathy and Philippe climb on the first step of the podium, the “Fafaru” and “Aruba Canoë” taking 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
