Great races and great winners!
The cross country MTB championship of Saint-Martin, organized by TRISPORT and the association of SXM MOUNTAIN BIKERS, was disputed last weekend, in the presence of many candidates.
Nice participation since 25 adults and 23 children took the start of the race. Note that the circuit for juniors and adults was the same as that used for the UCI Caribbean Championship organized last October, which had seen the participation of many neighboring islands.
Going through four laps of this very selective course, Dean Hodge wins again in the elite category. Mark Maidwell and Dick Luttekes are also champions, in the master 1 and master 2 categories.
For women, it is Sandra Garnier who wins the event.
Lucas Leroux wins the Cadets after a very good race. Maybe a future champion for Saint Martin?
The pupils of the pupils, youngest and minimal categories played on two different circuits, specially designed for them. The huge participation of the new VCSG club was particularly noted, with tireless supporters and numerous podiums to boot.
