We are in 1953, Robert, a young fisherman from Grand-Case is in love with Jocelyne. She comes from a bourgeois family in Marigot. At that time, tradition required that the person concerned submit his request to court the girl's family in writing. This was called the "WRITE IN".
2021 being placed under the theme of ROMANCE, the Tourist Office in collaboration with Soualigan Slangs is organizing a treasure hunt for two on Saturday June 12 in the streets of Marigot from 15 p.m. to 19:30 p.m. allowing you to rediscover the capital through the love story of Robert and Jocelyne.
Each team will be given at the time of registration, a map of Marigot and the first riddle. Once this has been solved, the location of the second riddle will be revealed and so on until the love story is revealed in its entirety. Participants will have two hours to solve all the puzzles and validate them via the application provided for this purpose before going to the finish line.
Registrations are free and will be done via a link available today on the facebook page and instagram account OT Saint-Martin local life.
Registrations are open until Saturday June 12, 2021.
Places are limited to 100 people or 50 teams of two. The course is accessible to people with reduced mobility with many prizes to be won!
