Throughout the past week, 30 young footballers were able to satisfy their passion for the round ball by participating in the All Saints' Day camp organized by FC Marigot.

From October 19 to 24 inclusive, young people aged 3 to 13 were able to learn about their favorite sport on the grounds of the Médiathèque at Concordia. Under the leadership of Stephen Tackling and Tidjan Konate, both sports educators, the children did not stop running, jumping, dribbling, shooting, in short, having fun together.

Each morning, the rich and varied sessions were intended to please but also to help young aspiring footballers progress.

The older ones (6 to 13 years old) were also able to devote themselves to Futsal. Spectacular, this practice is a real complement to traditional football, it allows to develop the technical and mental aspect.

The players took a real pleasure in training but also in friendly meetings which kept all their promises!

In the middle of the week, managers, players and members of FC Marigot went to Baie Rouge for a beach outing more than appreciated by children and adults. On the beach soccer program, games, swimming and important snacks. The beach digs deep!

The words of the players as well as those of their parents reflected total satisfaction at the end of the camp, both from a technical point of view and for the organization and the general atmosphere.

Among the organizers, a special mention for Stephen without whom nothing would be possible. His competence, his seriousness and his dedication are to be highlighted.

The same goes for Tidjan Konate who will have been of invaluable help in the supervision of young people.

All of them received their diploma for participating in the course last Saturday. They were proud and happy the children! _AF
