Solidarity: The Great Michelin-starred Chefs and the Rotary Saint-Martin Nord are helping to keep the educational restaurant of the Northern Islands running smoothly!

Gilles Goujon, chef at L'Auberge du Vieux Puits restaurant in Fontjoncouse (Aude), holder of three Michelin stars since 2010 and five Gault & Millau toques since 2009 will be the guest of honor at the next statutory meeting of the Rotary Club Saint Martin Nord organized on January 17th at 19pm, at the educational restaurant of the Lycée Professionnel des Iles du Nord.

As a reminder, Gilles Goujon organized after Irma, in the presence of three other three-star chefs, a charity gala around a dinner organized in the Hotel Restaurant "Les Castellets" located in the Var.

All these ambassadors of French gastronomy then jointly decided to donate all of the proceeds to Rotary Saint-Martin Nord to participate in the reconstruction of the island.

The Chef, Gilles Goujon then proposed to pay part of the funds for the benefit of training in catering trades on Saint-Martin. It is in this context that Rotary Saint Martin Nord signed an agreement with the Lycée Professionnel des Iles du Nord to finance the purchase of professional kitchen equipment necessary for the training of students for an amount of 11 euros.

The chef, Gilles Goujon, will take advantage of his coming to Saint-Martin to meet the apprentice cooks of the educational restaurant, this Thursday, January 17, at 18 pm! _AF
